Overview

QuitOClock is a personal overtime tracker for employees on all-inclusive contracts. The app does not require an account, and the developer does not collect or have access to your personal data.

Data Collection by the Developer

QuitOClock does not collect, transmit to the developer, or store any personal data on the developer's servers. All your data — contract settings, work-hour snapshots, and absence records — is stored locally on your device in an on-device database.

Specifically, QuitOClock:

Device Backup (Android)

On Android, QuitOClock participates in Android Auto Backup. This means your app data may be automatically backed up to your own private Google Drive backup space, managed by the Android operating system. This lets you restore your data when you set up a new device.

Important points about this backup:

Crash Reporting

QuitOClock uses Sentry for crash reporting. When the app crashes, a technical error report (stack trace, device model, OS version) may be sent to help diagnose and fix bugs. These reports do not contain your personal data, work hours, or contract information.

Manual Data Export

QuitOClock lets you manually export your data as a JSON file from within the app. Where that exported file is stored or shared is entirely under your control.

Third-Party Services

The developer does not share any of your data with third parties. The only external service used directly by the app is Sentry, for crash reporting (see above). Device backup is handled by Google as part of the Android operating system.

Children's Privacy

QuitOClock is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
